Sometimes your mouse pointer keeps disappearing because an off-screen application has captured it. Use Alt+Tab or Task Manager to Release a Captured Pointer Updating the application and your GPU drivers should be your first action, but if that doesn’t work check the software’s documentation to see where you can toggle hardware acceleration off. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that the pointer disappears because of compatibility problems. This might happen because that application is trying to use hardware acceleration to render things more quickly and smoothly. Common examples include video player applications and web browsers such as Chrome. Sometimes a mouse pointer disappears only when it moves over certain applications. If Your Pointer Only Disappears in Certain Apps It can also be that your GPU driver needs to be updated, so that it plays nicely with a newer mouse driver. Alternatively, perhaps you should roll back a new mouse driver which may be causing problems. While Windows usually does a good job of keeping things up to date, you may want to manually check that your mouse drivers are up to date. If your mouse has this feature, make sure it’s set to the correct profile for the computer you want to use it on. If you own a laptop and the mouse cursor disappears, check if one of the Functions keys F1-F9 (FN keys) enables or disables the mouse/touchpad. So you can switch between different devices at the touch of a button. ![]() Some Bluetooth mice, such as the MX Master series, support multiple device profiles. ![]()

As we can now easily do with StoreFront 3.0, or easier then before anyway.Īs you probably know, users within a Citrix XenApp and/or XenDesktop Site get access to published resources (applications and desktops) by adding them to a Delivery Group. By default, all members of a Delivery Group can see and have access to all resources made available as part of that Delivery Group.įor example, let’s say you publish ten applications and a desktop from a single Delivery Group, you than add 25 users to that Delivery group and as a result all 25 users will see and have access to all ten applications including the published desktop. You might have an external and an internal store, hiding certain recourses from your users. One example would be when dealing with a multi tenant environment and you want to be able to apply different configurations per store.
